Putt-Putt: Pep's Birthday Surprise
First seen in Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo, Outback Al is hired as the first and only zookeeper of the Cartown Zoo. At first, he is concerned about the state of the zoo; many of the exhibits still need fixing and six baby animals have gone missing. When Putt-Putt first arrives to give him zoo chow before the opening, Outback Al reveals all the big issues he has to Putt-PUtt. He is relieved when Putt-Putt agrees to help him find the baby animals. Outback Al then spends the remainder of the time to fix up the place before the zoo opens. After Putt-Putt saves all six baby animals, Outback Al is relieved by the news and he and Putt-Putt go out to get the zoo opened. During the opening ceremonies, Outback Al awards Putt-Putt with a junior zookeeper award. After the opening, Putt-Putt introduces Outback Al to Smokey the fire engine.
In Putt-Putt Enters the Race, Outback Al is seen taking care of one of nine new baby animals that he intends to add to the zoo. However, he has encountered more trouble: he has forgotten what five of the animals eat and cannot leave his home to find out. Putt-Putt agrees to help and returns with the appropriate food for the animals. In return, Outback Al gives him an old red racing flag that Putt-Putt uses in the Cartown 500.
In Putt-Putt Joins the Circus, Outback Al can be seen as one of the spectators near the end of the game.
