Putt-Putt and Pep's Dog on a Stick is a computer arcade game developed by Humongous Entertainment in 1996. It is the only game in the Putt-Putt series where Putt-Putt does not change his color.
Plot[]
Putt-Putt goes with Pep to the recycling dump to deposit old bottles and cans. While Pep takes the recyclable trash inside the dump, he finds a pogo stick in good condition and starts bouncing on it. The two friends then go around the dump looking for good bones.
Gameplay[]
The game consists of 100 levels. In each level, the player must maneuver Pep to bounce from surface to surface to collect as many bones as possible then reach the checkers flag, before the time runs out. Pep can only jump between one tier and another in a straight diagonal direction. Powerup items can boost Pep's speed when picked up. When hopped on, a power pad will double Pep's jumping altitude capability temporarily. Critters (such as bears) will hinder Pep's progress.
The gameplay's style is reminicent to Q-Bert
