The Moon is one of the main locations from Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon.
Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon
Putt-Putt and Pep land here after Mr. Firebird's firecracker rocket launches them into space and, after it runs out of fuel, they are forced to go to the moon to find a place to land. For the rest of the game, Putt-Putt must find a way back home.
With the help of Rover (who was left on the moon after an astronaut exploration of the moon), Putt-Putt is able to fix up a rocket ship and the two of them are able to use it to return back to Cartown.
